Imagine having your teeth cleaned by a hygienist with crooked, smelly, yellow teeth. Do you really want her fingers in your mouth when she can't even clean her own teeth? Though you may not know it, people are constantly judging your teeth when you smile or talk. If you have unappealing teeth, then it attracts negative attention to it. People's reactions vary from feeling uncomfortable to feeling downright horrified. The end result is a lack of respect and interest in the person.
Imagine if you are a waitress, and you had "bad" teeth. You would constantly be showing it to a lot of people, and you even may be embarrassed. Having good teeth comes in and plays a huge role. Everyone is always judging you, and they may feel more comfortable if they know you had good hygiene.
Can you imagine having to stare at your waitress during your meal and constantly look at their bad teeth? If it were me, then it would make my food less appetizing. Even the mayor has to make sure to keep his teeth clean and straight. If it was crooked, odorous, and yellow, then people wouldn't take him very seriously. When you look at most mayors today, do they have "bad" teeth? I don't think so because their smiles are constantly being shown and they don't want to be taken without respect.
There are disadvantages of crooked teeth. For example, it may increase the chance of having gum disease. It also creates problems when brushing your teeth, and it creates chewing difficulties. In addition, it can cause bad breath and increases the chance of tooth injuries. It will affect your health and can increase the chances of having strokes, diabetes, etc.
Obviously, you want to have straight and healthy teeth, and there are advantages to it. It lowers the chances of having serious health issues. Having straight teeth allows it to be easier to clean. It also creates healthier gums and decreases the chances of having headaches.
In conclusion, your teeth have tremendous impact on what people think of you. Therefore, it is advantageous to have straight and healthy smile.
